In order to start securing your systems with GitWarden, you will first need to register with your Github account here:

By clicking the “Sign in with Github” link, you will then need to login with Github via oauth:

Once signed in to Github, you will be asked to confirm the GitWarden permissions and choose which organizations GitWarden should have Webhook and Membership access to:

Note, confirming permissions will only be needed when first registering with GitWarden. You can find more information on why GitWarden requests specific permissions in our documentation here.

Once authorization is confirmed, you will be directed to the GitWarden dashboard, which lists all of your current organizations and their corresponding API keys:

Where the “API Key ID” and “API Key Secret” values will be needed when registering agents.
